Description
Passive 1 port Gigabit Ethernet Injector including a 56 volt and 60 watt power supply
The GPOE-1 Injector has a passive PoE port. This means that it transmits power directly via the LAN cable without first checking whether the connected terminal device (PD) is PoE capable.
A current of up to 0.65 amps is supported at the PoE port. If you use the supplied Y-cable and use both current inputs at the same time, the maximum current increases to 1.25 amps. With the supplied 56 volt power supply unit, either 36.4 watts or 70 watts are available. The PoE Injector thus supports the IEEE802.3af (PoE), the IEEE802.3at (PoE+) and the IEEE802.3bt (PoE++ / 4PPoE) standard.
Data is transmitted at a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s, which corresponds to the Gigabit Ethernet standard.
Power and data are transmitted via pinout mode A or B. The selection is made by plugging the power pack into the power input. If the Y-cable is used, power and data are transmitted via pinout mode A/B.
In addition to its PoE Injector function, the GPOE-1-AB can also be used as a PoE Splitter. For this purpose, power and data are sent to the Injector via the PoE connection, power is sent to the end device via the 2.1mm connection and data is sent to the end device via LAN connection.
