Description
Passive 6 port Gigabit Ethernet PoE Injector including a 24 volt and 60 watt power supply
The GPOE-6AB-Y Injector has 6 passive PoE ports. This means that it transmits power directly via the LAN cable without first checking whether the connected terminal device (PD) is PoE capable.
A current of up to 0.65 amps is supported per PoE port. If you use the supplied Y-cable and use both current inputs at the same time, the maximum current increases to 1.25 amps. With the included 24 volt power supply, up to 15.6 watts or 30 watts per port are available. The total output is 60 watts. The PoE Injector thus supports the IEEE802.3af (PoE) and IEEE802.3at (PoE+) standards.
Data is transmitted at a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s, which corresponds to the Gigabit Ethernet standard.
Power and data are transmitted either via pinout mode A or B. The selection is made by plugging the power pack into the respective power input. If the Y-cable is used and both current inputs are used at the same time, current and data are transmitted via pinout mode A/B.
